On behalf of the International Veterinary Radiology Association and the Australasian Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, we have great pleasure in inviting you to the 17th Meeting of the IVRA and the 20 year celebration of AAVDI in Perth, Western Australia, from 16-21 August, 2015.
IVRA 2015 will bring together radiologists from around the world to present and discuss the latest advances in their research as well as important issues relevant to veterinary radiology. Our discipline embraces a broad and growing field of diagnostic imaging and IVRA 2015 will provide an opportunity to look to the future as well as reflect on past achievements.
Western Australia offers a fresh perspective for conferences with plenty of open space for delegates to think, breathe and connect. The State’s sparkling capital Perth is one of the nation’s fastest growing urban centres, offering cultural diversity and sophistication combined with a relaxed lifestyle and friendly atmosphere. The Conference Venue is in the beautiful and historic port city of Fremantle, where it is easy to get around on foot; convenient rail, bus and ferry transportation invites you explore the river, ocean and coastal region around Fremantle and Perth.
Beyond Perth you can discover the breathtaking and unparalleled beauty of our natural attractions in the regional areas of Western Australia. Swim with the dolphins in Rockingham, or with the giant whale sharks of the Coral Coast; explore our amazing coastline and Ningaloo Reef; travel the red-earth country of the North West and experience the magnificent colours of Gibb River Road and Lake Argyle; or indulge in Margaret River’s fine wines, boutique breweries and regional gourmet delights – it is your choice!
Perth is the most readily accessible location of any Australian capital city to South East Asia which will make it easier for colleagues in SE Asia to attend the meeting and join with other delegates from Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Please join us in Australia for IVRA 2015 – we look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country.
